PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

The rest of the stuff Having already considered the problem of not having a Transit type vehicle, I had to come up with something that would fold away relatively small, but would become something much bigger. I tried to buy a Tardis but the Time Lord who has it on Ebay is off with some Daleks somewhere. Here are two piles of stuff that can be together in 5 mins. No tools needed, just a half dozen steel pins. A pile of timber

first job, join the two halves Drop on light boxes Fit top shelf and wings
The stand is in two halves for easy transportation. First job is to join the two with a couple of steel pins. Two of the light boxes are designed to sit on the top (they have a rail underneath that mates to the stand), and two flaps swing out to finish the stand height at the sides. Middle and top shelf in. The square frame locks the light boxes to the top shelf. The two 'wings' on either end fit with two steel pins and finally, another pin that locks the support arm to the middle shelf and to the stand frame itself.
My side of things Another system view All set up
This is one view of the DeeJay side. You can see the laptop led lights that have been adapted as deck lights, and the Tutor II on the end. Another view, the Amp is just visible on the lower shelf. The light controller is not as precariuos as it looks - it fits into two recesses in the square frame that supports the back. And this is from the front. Speakers are due a lick of paint and I need to do something with the front of the stand. The three strobes fire in delayed sequence from a controller I have fitted to the right hand deck.
